CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP & TRAINING
PROJECT # 81172 LEADERSHIP TRAINING
$100 Purchases one (1) square meter of a new church building and lay training center in Hainan Province. Churches are in need of new buildings or of renovating old buildings to safely accommodate the rapidly growing congregations. Provincial lay training centers make it possible for churches to inexpensively provide much needed training for lay workers at the local level.
$150 Supports one lay leader from a small town or village in China for 9 months at Guangxi Christian Council Lay Training Center. In a country where there are approximately 7,000 believers for every seminary trained, ordained pastor, trained lay leadership is crucial for healthy church growth.
$250 Provides one ( 1) semester scholarship for a student in a Chinese seminary. The churches that have called out the students are not always able to fully support their young people in seminary. Scholarship assistance insures that the students are able to complete their 4 years training and return to provide much need leadership in their home churches.
